# Viewing Upcoming Bills

> See what's coming up so you can plan ahead - bills, subscription renewals, and incoming payments.

MyTruv predicts upcoming charges and incoming payments from your recurring history, so you can see what's about to hit your accounts at a glance.

## Where to see upcoming bills

Upcoming bills live on the **Recurring** section on both platforms. The Summary screen also shows an **Upcoming** widget for a quick peek without leaving the home view.

## Time-based grouping

The upcoming list is grouped into:

* **Next 30 days** - everything expected to hit within the next month, including items that are overdue
* **Later** - everything beyond that 30-day window

Each group shows a count and a signed net total for that window (incoming minus outgoing).

<Note>iOS also shows a **Last 30 days** section below the upcoming groups for recurring items that already hit - that's the historical view, not upcoming. The web Recurring page doesn't have a Last 30 days list (past charges live inside each subscription's detail).</Note>

## What each row shows

* **Merchant or source name** - who's billing you (or paying you, for incoming items)
* **Expected amount** - based on the most recent charge
* **Expected date** - a relative label like **Today**, **in 5 days**, or **2 days overdue**

Overdue items don't disappear - they stay in **Next 30 days** with the overdue label so you don't miss them.

## Opening the detail view

Open a row to see the detail view for that recurring series. It shows the next payment, status, frequency, category (or source, for incoming items), last payment, and first-detected date.

## When the Upcoming view looks empty

If you've just connected your accounts, MyTruv may still be syncing - recurring detection needs enough transaction history to spot patterns. Give it a few minutes and refresh.

<Note>On the **web**, if you only have a payroll connection (no bank account linked), the Upcoming view shows just incoming payments - there are no upcoming bills to predict without a bank connection.</Note>

## Planning with upcoming bills

Use the upcoming view to:

* Avoid overdrafts by spotting large charges before they hit
* Keep track of annual subscription renewals
* Make sure paychecks and bills line up the way you expect (see [Tracking Recurring Income](/recurring/recurring-income))
