# Income Not Showing

> What to do when your income or pay statements aren't appearing in MyTruv.

Income in MyTruv comes from one of two sources: a **payroll connection** (gross pay, net pay, deductions, pay stubs) or a **bank connection** (deposit amounts only, no breakdown). If income isn't showing, the most likely cause is that the right connection isn't linked yet.

## Connect a payroll provider

For full income details (gross, net, deductions, pay stubs), you need a payroll connection.

<Note>
  **Web**: open **Income** from the sidebar ([app.mytruv.com/data/income](https://app.mytruv.com/data/income)). If you don't have a payroll or bank connection yet, the page shows an empty state with an **Add account** button - tap it to start the connection flow.

  **iOS**: scroll to the Income section on the Home (Summary) feed. If you don't have a payroll connection, a **Get More Details** banner appears with a Connect Payroll button. (You can dismiss the banner for 30 days, but it'll come back.)
</Note>

See [Connecting Payroll](/accounts/connecting-payroll) for the full flow.

## Refresh your data

If a connection is already linked but you're not seeing the latest pay stub or deposit, run a manual refresh:

<Note>
  **Web** ([app.mytruv.com/data/connections](https://app.mytruv.com/data/connections)): payroll syncs automatically on the backend - there's no manual refresh button for payroll. For bank deposits, use **Sync All** or the **Reconnect** button on the bank's connection card.

  **iOS**: pull down anywhere on the Income section to refresh.
</Note>

## Common causes

### Recent job change

If you recently started a new job, it may take one or two pay cycles before income data appears. Your new employer's payroll provider needs time to populate.

### Payroll provider not supported

MyTruv supports many major payroll providers, but not all. If your employer uses a less common payroll system, payroll data may not be available - in that case, a bank connection still shows your deposits, just without the gross / deductions breakdown.

### Bank account doesn't receive the deposit

If you're relying on a bank connection (no payroll), make sure the bank account where your paycheck is deposited is linked.

## Multiple employers

If you work multiple jobs, connect each payroll provider separately. Income from each source appears under its own employment card. See [Tracking Multiple Employers](/income/tracking-multiple-employers).

## If income still doesn't appear

If none of the above works, [contact support](/settings/contacting-support) - your payroll provider may not be supported, or there may be a connection-specific issue worth investigating.
