You can personalize your AI assistant from one screen. Pick a name and avatar, add personal context, and shape how it responds.

Where to customize

Open Settings → Assistant on either platform - that’s the dedicated home for all assistant customization.
On the web - open Settings from the sidebar, then Assistant (or go directly to app.mytruv.com/settings/assistant).On iOS - open Settings, then Assistant.

What you can customize

Name and avatar

Give your assistant a custom name (up to 50 characters) and pick an avatar from the grid. You can change either anytime. The first time you set an avatar (during onboarding), the name pre-fills with the avatar’s name (for example, picking the “Zoe” avatar pre-fills the name as “Zoe”). You’re free to overwrite it.

Memory

Add personal context that helps the assistant give better answers - your financial goals, life situation, areas of focus, or anything else that matters when the assistant interprets a question. Memory persists across all your conversations.

Custom instructions

Set the tone, level of detail, or formatting rules the assistant should follow. Instructions support markdown so you can use bullet lists, headings, or short rules. Like memory, instructions apply across all conversations.

When changes take effect

Changes apply immediately to new conversations. Existing threads keep the assistant settings they were started with.
Start light - one or two sentences of memory and a few short instructions are usually enough. You can always refine later.
