If you have Face ID or Touch ID enabled
- On the PIN entry screen, use Face ID or Touch ID to unlock the app
- Once inside, go to Settings > Security & Privacy > App Lock
- Tap Change PIN
- Authenticate with Face ID / Touch ID when prompted
- Set a new 4-digit PIN
If biometrics are not enabled
If you don’t have Face ID or Touch ID set up as an alternative:- On the PIN entry screen, tap Forgot PIN? if available
- You may be asked to sign in with your email and password to verify your identity
- Once verified, you can create a new PIN
If you’re completely locked out
If none of the above options work:- Delete and reinstall the MyTruv app
- Sign in with your email and password
- Set up a new PIN in Settings > Security & Privacy > App Lock
- Your data and connected accounts will still be available after signing back in
Deleting and reinstalling the app does not delete your account or data. Your information is stored securely in the cloud.
