Where to enter your code
- Web: on the checkout page, click Have a promo code?, type your code, and click Apply. The discount applies to the plan you’ve selected.
- iOS: on the membership screen, tap Have a promo code?.
- Bank transfer (ACH) payment - type the code into the field; the discount shows in your plan summary.
- App Store payment - this opens Apple’s offer-code redemption sheet, which is the standard iOS UI for redeeming Apple offer codes.
What the discount can look like
A promo code can deliver any of these:- A free trial period
- A discounted monthly price for a number of months
- A one-time upfront discount on your first charge
Common reasons a code doesn’t work
If you see an error when you try to apply a code, it usually means the code is:- Invalid - the code doesn’t exist or was typed incorrectly. Double-check the spelling.
- Expired - the promo’s end date has passed.
- Inactive - the campaign isn’t currently running.
- Already used - the code has been redeemed (some codes are one-use per account).
Things to know
- Codes don’t stack. Only one discount applies at a time; entering a new code replaces an existing one.
- Apply the code at checkout, before you confirm payment. Codes can’t be added afterwards.
