If MyTruv is running slowly or crashing, try the platform-specific steps below.

iOS

  1. Force-quit and reopen MyTruv - open the App Switcher and swipe up on the MyTruv card; then relaunch from the Home Screen.
  2. Restart your device - a simple restart resolves a surprising number of performance issues.
  3. Check for app updates - open the App Store, find MyTruv, and install any pending update.
  4. Update iOS - open Settings → General → Software Update and install any available updates.
  5. Free up storage - Settings → General → iPhone Storage. Aim to keep at least 500 MB free.

If nothing helps

Delete and reinstall the app. Your data, accounts, and connections come back when you sign back in - nothing is stored only locally.

Web

  1. Hard refresh the page - on Mac, press Command + Shift + R; on Windows or Linux, press Control + Shift + R. This bypasses the browser cache.
  2. Try a different supported browser - if MyTruv misbehaves in one browser, switch to another modern browser to isolate the issue.
  3. Clear your browser’s cache - if hard refresh doesn’t help, clear cached files and reload. Your account stays signed in via Auth0; clearing cache won’t sign you out unless you also clear cookies.
  4. Check your internet connection - try opening another site to verify your connection is working.

Both platforms

  • Check your internet connection - Wi-Fi and cellular can both have intermittent issues; try switching to test.
  • Crash reports are automatic - MyTruv collects crash data in the background, so you don’t need to send logs manually.
