MyTruv lets you browse your financial data by category, making it easy to see how much you’re spending in specific areas.
How to browse categories
- Navigate to the Search tab
- Browse available spending categories
- Tap a category to see all transactions in that category
What you’ll see
When you select a category, you’ll see:
- Total spending in that category for the selected period
- All transactions in that category, sorted by date
- Trend data showing how your spending in this category has changed
Using category browsing
Category browsing is useful for:
- Budgeting - See exactly how much goes to food, transportation, or entertainment
- Auditing - Review all charges in a specific category to catch errors or unexpected charges
- Goal tracking - Monitor categories where you’re trying to spend less
Combine category browsing with time range selection to see how your spending in a specific category has changed month over month.
