Face ID and Touch ID let you unlock MyTruv quickly and securely using your face or fingerprint.

How to enable biometric authentication

  1. Open MyTruv and go to Settings
  2. Tap Security or App Lock
  3. Toggle on Face ID or Touch ID
  4. Confirm with your biometric to activate

Requirements

  • Face ID requires an iPhone with Face ID (iPhone X and later)
  • Touch ID requires an iPhone with a Home button and Touch ID sensor
  • Biometrics must be set up in your iPhone’s Settings > Face ID & Passcode (or Touch ID & Passcode)

When you’ll be prompted

You’ll need to authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID when:
  • Opening the app
  • Returning to the app after switching away
  • Accessing sensitive settings
Face ID or Touch ID is the fastest and most secure way to access your financial data. We strongly recommend enabling it.
If Face ID or Touch ID fails, you can fall back to your PIN to unlock the app.
