If you have more than one income source, MyTruv keeps each one separate. Every source has its own Employment card, salary, pay history, and pay statements, and a switcher lets you pick which one you’re looking at.
When the switcher appears
The switcher only shows up when you have two or more income sources connected. With a single source, the Employment card just shows that one employer.
An income source can come from a payroll connection or from paycheck deposits MyTruv detects on a connected bank account. Both types show up in the switcher side by side, with a Bank or Payroll tag on each entry.
Switching between income sources
On the web - open Income from the sidebar. The switcher sits at the top of the page next to the title, showing the current source with its logo and a small chevron. Click it to see all sources - each row shows the logo, the name, and a Bank or Payroll tag, with a checkmark on the one you’re viewing. On iOS - open the Cash Flow screen. The Income section sits inside Cash Flow. When you have multiple sources, the company name on the Employment card turns into a pill with a chevron. Tap it to open the menu; the one you’re viewing has a checkmark.
Switching updates the whole Income view - Employment card, Income Breakdown, pay history chart, and Recent pay periods all refresh for the selected source.
On the web, your selection is reflected in the URL, so you can bookmark or share a link that opens directly to a specific source.
For what each Employment card actually displays, see Income Overview.
Free vs Pro
- Free plan - 1 payroll connection (separate from the 1 bank connection slot)
- Pro plan - unlimited connections of both types
If you have multiple employers and want to connect all of them through payroll, Pro is what you need. You can still see a second source on Free if it gets picked up from bank-detected deposits, but the full payroll breakdown (gross vs net, deductions, taxes, pay stubs) only comes from a payroll connection.
For how to add a payroll connection, see Connecting Your Payroll.
If you mostly care about one income source at a time, bookmark the web Income page while the right one is selected - the URL remembers your choice so you’ll land back on the same source next time.
