When you start adding a connection in MyTruv, the institution search lives inside the secure connection widget. If your bank or credit union doesn’t appear in the search results, try the tips below.

Search tips

  • Use the full official name - search “Navy Federal Credit Union” instead of “NFCU”
  • Try different variations - your bank might be listed under a slightly different name
  • Search by location - some smaller institutions include their city or state in their name
  • Check for parent companies - some banks operate under a parent or merged name

If your institution still isn’t listed

MyTruv supports thousands of institutions, but not every bank or credit union is available, and some smaller institutions aren’t compatible with our banking data provider yet.
  • Check back later - new institutions are added regularly
  • Contact support - let us know which institution you’d like us to add and we’ll do our best to prioritize it. Include the full name and location of the bank so we can look it up. See Contacting Support.
  • Try a parent company - if your bank was recently acquired or merged, try searching for the parent company
