Deleting your MyTruv profile is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your profile is gone, your data is gone with it.
Deletion is irreversible. Your connected accounts, transaction history, AI chat conversations, and insights are removed and cannot be recovered.

Before you delete

Take a few minutes to wrap up before you start the flow.
  • Cancel your subscription first if you pay through MyTruv on the web. Cancelling at app.mytruv.com/settings/subscription before deletion makes sure no future charges post.
  • Apple subscribers must cancel through Apple separately. Deleting your MyTruv profile does not cancel an App Store subscription. You have to cancel it at Apple Subscriptions - before or after deletion - to stop the recurring charge.

How to delete your profile

On both web and iOS, open Settings → Profile → Delete account and follow the on-screen prompts. The app walks you through confirming your decision before anything is removed.

What gets deleted

When you confirm deletion, MyTruv removes:
  • Your connected accounts and transaction history
  • Your AI chat conversations with the MyTruv assistant
  • Your financial insights and reports
  • Your MyTruv subscription and billing data (web subscribers only - Apple keeps its own record of App Store subscriptions)

What does not change

Deleting your MyTruv profile only affects your data inside MyTruv. It does not touch your actual bank or card accounts. Your money, balances, and transactions at your bank are untouched, and you can still sign in to your bank directly the same way you always have.

Subscriptions and deletion

How you stop being billed depends on where you originally subscribed.

If you subscribed on the web

Cancel at app.mytruv.com/settings/subscription before you delete your profile, so no further charges post.
Apple Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by MyTruv. Deleting your MyTruv profile does not cancel an App Store subscription, and we cannot cancel it for you.

If you subscribed through the App Store

You must cancel through Apple at Apple Subscriptions. You can do this before or after deleting your MyTruv profile, but until you cancel with Apple, Apple will continue to charge you on the normal renewal date. App Store billing is strictly between you and Apple.

Refunds

MyTruv does not offer refunds for past charges, whether or not you delete your profile.
