Where to find your spending
Access your spending data from the Home screen by tapping on the spending section, or navigate through the app’s spending features.
What you’ll see
- Total spending - Your total spending for the current period
- Category breakdown - A visual chart showing spending by category
- Top merchants - Where you spend the most
- Comparison to previous periods - How your current spending compares to last month
How spending is calculated
MyTruv calculates your spending by looking at outgoing transactions from all connected accounts. It automatically excludes:
- Transfers between your own accounts
- Credit card payments (to avoid double-counting)
- Investment contributions
This gives you an accurate picture of your actual spending.
Check your spending overview weekly to stay aware of your spending habits and catch any unexpected charges early.
