App lock ensures your financial data stays private even if someone picks up your unlocked phone.
How app lock works
When enabled, MyTruv automatically locks when you:
- Switch to another app
- Lock your phone screen
- Leave the app idle for a period of time
When you return to MyTruv, you’ll need to authenticate using Face ID, Touch ID, or your PIN.
Configuring app lock
- Go to Settings > Security or App Lock
- Enable or disable app lock
- Choose your preferred authentication method:
- Face ID / Touch ID
- PIN
- Both (biometric with PIN fallback)
Lock timing
The app locks immediately when you leave it, ensuring your financial data is protected at all times.
Keep app lock enabled at all times. It adds minimal inconvenience but provides significant protection for your sensitive financial information.
