With potentially thousands of transactions across your connected accounts, search makes it easy to jump to exactly what you’re looking for.
Open Transactions and use the search field. Results filter as you type.On the web it matches merchant names. Recent searches on iOS

Available in MyTruv iOS 1.8 and later.
Open Transactions on the Home tab, in the row of pages across the top, then tap the search box in the top bar while it’s empty. Your last few searches appear under a RECENT heading, each with a history icon. Tap one to run it again instead of retyping it. A search is remembered when you submit it or open one of its results, and the most recently used one moves to the top. Clear wipes the list. Recent searches survive relaunching the app and are cleared when you sign out.

Search tips

  • Search by merchant - type “Starbucks” or “Amazon” to find every transaction from that merchant.
  • Search by partial name - typing the first few letters of a merchant is enough; you don’t need the full name.
  • Combine with filters - apply category, account, date, or amount filters in addition to the search to narrow down further.

Sorting your results

Both platforms support the same sort options:
  • Newest first (default)
  • Oldest first
  • Amount: high to low
  • Amount: low to high
Sort works whether or not you have a search term active.
If you don’t remember the merchant name, try a keyword for what you bought (e.g. “coffee”, “rideshare”). On iOS the search also matches against category names, so a generic word may still pull up the right results.
