Your profile holds your name, email, and profile picture. MyTruv uses these across the app, including in the Assistant and on the home screen.

Editing your name

  1. Open Settings → Profile.
  2. Update your First name or Last name.
  3. Save your changes.
The Save button appears only once you’ve changed something. First name is required. Last name is optional - if you leave it empty, your avatar shows just your first-name initial.

Email

What you can do here depends on how you signed up. If you signed up with an email address, that address is fixed. You can copy it, but you can’t change it from inside the app - contact support if you need it updated. If you signed up with your phone number, you set an email during onboarding, and on the web you can still change it right up until you verify it. Once it’s verified, it’s locked and the app says so. Phone number

If you signed up with your phone number, the profile shows it. It’s the number you sign in with, so it can’t be changed.

Profile picture

If you signed in with Google or another social provider that includes a profile picture, MyTruv shows it on your profile and across the app. If no picture is available, you’ll see a colored avatar with your initials instead.
